Halsted & Hoggan, Inc. was formed by mutual friends, Sam Halsted and Lynn Hogan, who worked together at a pump company in Los Angeles. Halsted left the company to start his own and later Hoggan joined Halsted as a full partner. The pump company developed by these two men grew within a few years and they had to move to a bigger location at 935 Santa Fe Ave. in Los Angeles, California, where the Halsted & Hoggan company is still located today. Both men worked hard for the company up until their deaths.

Today, Halsted & Hoggan still offers their customers expert application assistance in over a million dollars worth of inventory. Experienced pump specialists are willing to help identify pumps or parts a customer might need based on their unique situations. Halsted & Hoggan also provides custom fabrication and assemblies as well as warranties on pumps and in-house repair services. Pumps can be shipped world-wide by air, sea, or ground and open accounts, COD, and credit cards are accepted as forms of payment. Halsted & Hoggan also employs specialists who are able to communicate in Spanish.
