Grundfos
was established in 1945 and currently produces over
10 million pump units annually. Three of the major pumps
manufactured by Grundfos today include circulator pumps,
submersible pumps, and centrifugal pumps. Grundfos supplies
almost half of the world market with their circulator
pumps. In addition, Grundfos also produces electric
motors for pumps and controls for pumps.
Circulator
pumps developed by Grundfos are used for heating, ventilation,
and air-conditioning in homes, offices, hotels, and
more. Industries also use Grundfos pumps for plant maintenance
and as built-in parts in their Original Equiment Manufacture
products. For the water-supply and waste-water section,
many different varieties are produced by Grundfos for
irrigation, green houses, home and industrial water-supply
and sewage applications.
Grundfos
places a high importance on Research and Development
in order to maintain their position as a leading well
pump manufacturer. In 1985, they developed their own
electronics production and later in 1991 Grundfos Electronics
was inaugurated. The Grundfos Technology Centre was
also inaugurated in May 1990. This centre insures Grundfos
will always be able to maintain and expand its position
in the research of new materials, the development of
process technology, and the construction of production
equipment.
Grundfos
pumps are both quality assured and environmentally certified.
The staff at Grundfos is provided with exceptional training
